Stéphanie Hecquet-Lepoutre,
I was born in the North of France in Villeneuve d’Ascq, I am a lawyer in international law and I worked in humanitarian work for 20 years for the UNHCR.
Olivier Hecquet,
I was born in the North in Seclin, I am an engineer and I have worked in development aid for 20 years, before that I worked for Peugeot.
It was in Argentina that we met, we got married and our first child was born in Buenos Aires. From then on, we lived on three continents (South America, Africa and Asia) for our work. The twins then arrived when we lived in Congo Kinshasa.

It’s the Hecquet side of the family that hails from Estrée-Wamin. We took over the Moulin Sainte-Marie in 2005, and we came there every summer to carry out renovation work.

In 2016, I requested unpaid leave, and I followed Olivier for our last family expatriation to Laos. It was there that I started teaching yoga classes full time. We returned to France in July 2019.
First there was the opening of the Anandena yoga studio in December 2019 and in July 2021 the guest rooms. We tried to preserve the authenticity of the original mill both inside and out, and we decorated the rooms with our memories of life abroad, hence the names of the rooms – Morocco , Sahel and Orient.
